The Endeavors Angel Tree program will assist in fulfilling holiday wishes for many of our San Antonio clients that we serve. Our Community Based Services programs provide supportive housing, case management, professional counseling, life skills training, and employment opportunities for chronically homeless adults with disabilities and their children throughout Texas. Please help us in making a difference this upcoming holiday season by sponsoring an individual to make their holiday wish come true! If you are interested, please “reserve” a wish from our virtual angel tree.
Each of our angels have submitted wishes for this holiday season, by providing clothing and shoe sizes, as well as a special gift or 2 they hope to receive. Our angels’ range in age from newborns all the way to 60+. Each angel has been assigned a unique ID number, so we can deliver the gifts to the correct person. Please be sure to add the ID number to your packages, prior to dropping them off.
Your un-wrapped gift(s) may be dropped off between Monday, November 27th – Tuesday, December 12th.
Please drop them off at the designated bin located in the lobby of the Veteran Wellness Center (VWC), located at 6333 De Zavala Rd, San Antonio, TX 78249. Hours for drop-off are between 7am-7pm, Monday through Thursday and 7am-5pm on Fridays.
Please ensure that your gift(s) are labeled with the identification number located on your virtual tag. It is recommended that you drop off your gift(s), labeled with the ID number, in a box, or bag (gift bag, garbage bag, etc.), so gifts are not separated.
If you would like to wrap your own gifts, please ensure they are labeled with the ID number and grouped together as well.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with our wrapping party on Friday, 12/15, from 10am-12pm, to make sure all of the gifts are wrapped and ready to be delivered to our clients from our Angel Tree program. You are invited to join us for a day of festive fun and wrapping! Put on your Holiday sweater (tacky or cute) and bring your favorite roll of wrapping paper. The wrapping party will take place in the community room in the VWC. The more the merrier!
