Taking care of each other is important every day, but in these uncertain times, it is even more critical.
We are asking for your help in raising funds to provide supplies for vulnerable families and individuals with disabilities who belong to our supportive housing programs in Texas and North Carolina and Veteran supportive services programs in Texas. These high-risk, immunocompromised, and low-income individuals and families are being directly impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and it is and always has been our mission to assist them.
“I praise Endeavors’ Fairweather Family Lodge for the assistance provided to me. They have opened so many doors. With their support, I’ve been clean now for 18 months.” -Mandy, resident
We invite you to help us provide for vulnerable families and individuals in our supportive housing and Veteran Services programs during the COVID-19 Crisis. We need your help in raising funds that will provide the most essential supplies to our residents during this trying time.
Here’s how your donations will help:
- $15 will provide hand soap and hand sanitizer supplies to keep hands clean
- $25 will provide non-perishable grocery items to keep pantries stocked
- $50 will provide hygiene kits distributed to clients looking for employment and comfort
- $100 will provide cleaning supplies to keep homes sanitized and safe
- $250 will provide diapers for families with infants and toddlers
…or, choose your own amount to help those we serve.
Additionally, the supplies listed below are greatly needed by our supportive housing residents (single mothers and individuals with disabilities) as well as the Veterans we serve through our Veterans supportive services program in need of housing assistance. To coordinate a pick-up/drop off of any of the items below, please email [email protected]
Your contributions during this time are greatly appreciated. It is because of people like you that we are able to continue our work serving vulnerable people in crisis. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
About Endeavors’ Housing Programs
Established in 1977, Endeavors®’ Housing Program is its longest-running initiative, with a goal of providing permanent supportive housing to female veterans, as well as individuals and families with mental illness and/or disabilities.
Within this program, Endeavors provides supportive housing, case management, professional counseling, life skills training, and employment opportunities for chronically homeless individuals, including homeless women and their children, as well as Veterans.
About Endeavors’ Veteran Services Programs:
Endeavors® provides homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to Texas Veterans at risk of becoming homeless. Through our case management services, veterans develop a housing stability plan, are assisted in obtaining VA and other benefits, and are provided referrals to community agencies. Part of our services includes providing veterans with temporary financial assistance, which is based on financial need and includes rental deposits, arrears, and utility payments.
