ABOUT US

Endeavors provides case management and therapeutic services to unaccompanied children, their sponsors, and families via our Home Study and Post Release Services & Migrant Wellness programs.

HOME STUDY AND POST-RELEASE SERVICES

HSPRS is a program that provides case management through home studies and post-release services for unaccompanied children and their sponsors nationwide. These services are funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).

While an unaccompanied child is in an ORR shelter, a Home Study can be completed to determine the suitability of the sponsor and assess the sponsor’s ability to meet the child’s needs. Home Studies can also be used to educate and prepare the sponsor for the child’s release. Post-Release Services: After a child is released from a shelter, post-release services are provided to ensure the child’s well-being and safety. There are three levels of care provided for children and families based on the assessed need for support.

Through a combination of supervisors, case managers, and program experts, Endeavors is able to provide culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, child-centered case management services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors nation-wide.

The Home Study and Post Release Services Program allows Endeavors to help unaccompanied children in various ways:

  • Ensure placement stability
  • Provide support and case management
  • Teach sponsors how to provide support and care
  • Create innovative case management approaches
  • Deliver home study and post-release services

Coming to the United States after experiencing trauma, witnessing violence and war, living with limited resources, and very limited health care access and educational support, migrants who have fled their countries in search of a better life often arrive with a range of health or psychosocial needs. Endeavors provides therapeutic services and support services to newly arrived migrants who are going through immigration proceedings.

Leading our migrant wellness programming is a team of specifically trained and licensed bilingual clinicians who have proven experience in victim services, therapeutic regiments, and vital educational resources, as well as in recognizing human trafficking indicators. Our team has extensive knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally, and linguistically appropriate mental health care to migrant families navigating the U.S immigration process, developed through our work with migrants since 2012.
