There is no “one size fits all” recovery plan after disaster strikes. Because every disaster is different, our Disaster Relief and Recovery services place a high emphasis on the unique needs of each individual case. Whether you need short-term relief or require long-term recovery, we create focused plans and safe environments, while providing plenty of resource referrals for those impacted by disasters.
Our Disaster Relief and Recovery (DRR) services connect emergency or disaster victims to services and funding they may not be aware of, helping them recover after an emergency or disaster situation. From safety shelters and evacuation efforts to home repair, new furniture, and clothing, Endeavors seeks to help in any way we can.
HOW WE HELP
Our Disaster Relief services support individuals and families in federally declared disaster areas, providing both immediate assistance and long-term recovery solutions.
IMMEDIATE RELIEF
Connection to urgent resources – shelters, food, clothing, and community programs.
Dedicated case management – one-on-one guidance to help navigate available assistance and stabilize quickly.
LONG-TERM RECOVERY
Personalized recovery plans – tailored strategies to move families from crisis to stability.
Home repair and rebuilding – from damage assessments to complete restoration or new construction.
Nationwide recovery teams – geographically dispersed teams ready to deploy wherever disaster strikes.
RESTORING HOPE, RESTORING COMMUNITIES

Because recovery is about more than rebuilding homes—it’s about rebuilding lives. Together with our partners, we help communities rebuild stronger after disaster—providing relief, recovery, and resources every step of the way.
When disaster strikes, community support systems are often disrupted. Our goal is to help restore balance by strengthening local networks and ensuring individuals can access the resources they need for recovery.
We know that Disaster Relief and Recovery is most effective when done together. That’s why we partner with Long-Term Recovery Groups (LTRGs), Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOADs), community nonprofits, municipalities, homeless and housing coalitions, and other local partners. By working side by side, we expand access to services and make recovery more achievable for communities impacted by federally declared disasters.
SUCCESS STORIES

NADINE FORD
For Nadine Ford, losing her home to Hurricane Harvey was more than the loss of four walls and a roof—it was the loss of stability, security, and the place she called home. In the months that followed, Nadine found herself bouncing between relatives’ houses and even sleeping in her car, holding on to hope that something would change.
When FEMA assistance finally came through, she was able to rent a motel room. But the relief was short-lived. As soon as the funds ran out, Nadine was once again faced with uncertainty and told she had to leave.
Determined to find a way forward, Nadine—supported by her daughter—turned to Endeavors for help. That’s when her story began to change. After a long 18 months of waiting, Nadine received the news she had been praying for: she would finally have a home again. Not the house Harvey had destroyed, but a brand-new one, built from the ground up to replace everything the storm had taken.
For Nadine, it wasn’t just about returning home. It was about reclaiming her life, her hope, and her future.
