Kristy Dean is the Regional Director of The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics at Endeavors. She is an experienced clinical supervisor, therapist, and non-profit leader with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry and in military settings. Kristy is skilled in crisis intervention, family therapy, clinical supervision, trauma, and life transitions.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, and a Texas state board approved LPC and LMFT supervisor. Kristy and her husband have two adult daughters whom they raised from the state foster care system.

They are also proud grandparents to 6 beautiful children. Kristy enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and time at home with their two dogs.

Dr. Cheryl Paulhus is the Clinic Director for The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, Killeen, where she oversees the clinic’s operations.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Dance and Psychology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University School of Professional Psychology in Florida. Specializing in the field of trauma, she has advanced clinical training in both the treatment of trauma and in assessing forensic issues. She is currently a faculty member for the International Trauma Training Institute.
With 33-years of experience within the mental health field, Cheryl has worked in executive leadership, program management, and has served as a clinician and an educator. Prior to coming to Texas, she served as the Supervisor of Emergency Services for the city of Alexandria, VA. During her time in Virginia, Cheryl provided post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and crisis intervention for mental health trainings to police officers. She also provided expert witness testimony in the area of risk and senior consultation for high profile cases while in emergency services.
Cheryl is passionate and committed to the realization of the values, principles, and goals of integrated, holistic, and trauma-informed care addressing the mind, body, and spirit and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Yoga Teacher with specialized training for the Military (Warriors at Ease, Level II Teacher).
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, teaching them how to swim, do yoga, and dance.

Tom Voss

Founder, Ojai Earth
Tom Voss served on active duty in the United States Army for three years, from 2003 to 2006. Tom served with the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, the 1st Brigade 25th Infantry Division. He served as a scout in the battalion scout-sniper platoon. Tom was deployed to Mosul, Iraq, to support Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004 to 2005.
After returning home, Tom struggled with reintegration and was diagnosed with PTSD in 2008. After being pushed to the brink of suicide, Tom knew he had to do something to help himself heal. In 2013 he executed a 2,700-mile trek from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Los Angeles, California. This journey was captured in the Emmy®-nominated documentary film, Almost Sunrise.
Tom is the co-author of the memoir, Where War Ends: A Combat Veteran’s 2,700-Mile Journey to Heal ― Recovering from PTSD and Moral Injury through Meditation, Published by New World Library, October 2019.
Tom is the founder of the cooperative nonprofit Ojai Earth, which focuses on regenerating people and the planet through holistic practices like meditation and Yoga Nidra and education around permaculture design strategies for the earth.
Tom has been featured in the New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today, Fox News, Epoch Times, and The Hollywood Reporter for his work empowering veterans to overcome moral injury. Tom has given presentations and lectures about his journey of hope and healing at Google, the Aspen Ideas Festival, New York University, The Harvard Club of New York City, and the United States Congress.

Dr. Scott P. Rheinschmidt is the Clinic Director for The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, San Antonio, where he provides leadership to an extensive staff of professional counselors who provide services to over 300 Veterans and military families. A military Veteran having served over 24 years, Scott’s time in the military included overseas deployments in support of OEF/OIF. Serving in the counseling profession for over 20 years in various capacities, Scott holds a supervisory credential in Professional Counseling, is a board-certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and is a certified Trauma Treatment Provider. He helps the Cohen Clinic by ensuring a well-equipped, organized, and trained staff fills the gap in counseling services needed by so many Veterans and their family members. Scott’s activities outside of work include practicing Kung Fu and Tai Chi, as well as enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and shooting sports.
