Safe Services – Support for Survivors of Crime
In San Antonio, Texas and the surrounding area, we provide free case management and professional counseling services, referrals, information regarding victims’ rights, and assistance with Crime Victims’ Compensation. Our goal is to improve the lives of individuals who have experienced trauma due to crimes against them.
We provide the following services
- Professional counseling
- Victims’ rights advocacy
- Needs assessments
- Application assistance for crime victims compensation
- Case management such as:
- Housing assistance
- Legal referrals
- Benefits assistance/referrals
- Court accompaniment
- Medical benefits
To qualify you must:
- Reside in Bexar County
- Be 18+ (guardians may submit on behalf of minors)
- NOT be incarcerated, under ankle monitoring, living in a halfway house, or on parole
- Identify as being a survivor of a violent crime
